Ratones

In Ratones, a district of Florianópolis, Brazil, RemRent lists 12 homes for rent, gathered from the country's major portals. In Ratones there are 3 one-bedroom homes, 2 with two bedrooms, 3 with three and 0 with four; by type, 3 apartments, 0 studios and 9 houses. Both breakdowns come from the ad, as does the floor area. A studio here is one room, bedroom and living room together, with the kitchen along a wall. Type and bedroom count are separate filters, so a studio can be listed next to one-bedroom apartments or on its own. The area filter does the same by floor area. Within a single district of Florianópolis, homes of the same size are the ones to compare: choose a bedroom count and an area range, sort by rent or by total monthly cost, and what is left is a set of comparable homes a few streets apart. What the photos show separates them from there: a balcony, the flooring, the furniture, the view, each one a separate filter.
